Poppy West - Photography

As a Masters Photography student, Poppy’s work explores the relationship of photography and death. Using adhesive plastic and black pigment to create death masks, Poppy has created her own method of capturing photographs without the use of a camera. Working with the face and the body, Poppy’s art balances the intimacy of process with the immortalisation inherent in photography.
