Emily Cannell - Fashion

By using Jersey to create dynamic new forms and situate these within atmospheric, architectural spaces, Emily’s work pushes the boundaries of what constitutes as Fashion

She creates forms that mimic shoulders and hips whilst also taking the guise of a crumbling building or a staircase. The ethereal sense of body that occupies her work even in its absence leaves us asking whether the body needs to be present at all?
